Heard today that a WAAFL club could be facing relegation for alleged player payment. If proven, then they will be relegated which will give one side a reprieve from the drop. I can divulge that the allegations involve a club in one of the C grades.

CO if this is proven does it effect a promotion. That could result in instead of going up a grade you find yourself going down a grade. Basically costing the club 2 successful year to get back to were they could have been.

Dose it include clubs paying they way for players? Because I did hear a bit of noise that one successful club in particular that they were paying for players game fees and memberships!

@CBAG - my belief is that if a team is found guilty in such as a scenario then they would be relegated one grade from the grade they were playing in during the 2017 season.

@PH - the name of the club was not specified but if the case is proven then teams in a couple of grades will need to be re-graded from how it stands now.

Its funny how they always get caught in the lower grades, clearly the top grades don't pay their players, regardless of public perception, oh except for that one year when Kelmscott got caught......

What were they paying, and how did it work for them?
Were they successful and won something last year or did they just F#$K up their club by wanting success to quickly?
