Surely it can't be that hard to get the colts fixtures out before now. While most A,B and C grade clubs can pretty much expect to follow the seniors around it must be frustrating for the lower graded clubs. If clubs still aren't sure if they can field a colts or and 2nd colts then they probably can't.
The way i see it though it should be pretty straight foward going from last year and the goss.

This is probably where the hold up is. At least 6 of these colts teams have sides in c3 and 3 have sides in c4. Tough to sort put but that's what they get paid for and should be up by now!

Do to the transient nature of the colts competition, the league are waiting on team nominations. I know Whitfords will be fielding 2 colts teams this year so the league will need to take that into consideration.

You can only assume that some of the higher grade clubs are having trouble getting a colts team together. Otherwise,as you say at least put out the fixtures for A, B & C grade.

Not good enough! If your nomination isn't in by now then stiff shit!

I can only ciomment on the LKC but CVPSP didnt have colts last year. Did Mosman Park? SNESA, Warnbo and Canningvale do so hopefully all 10 C2 clubs get colts up.

Mad Dog, we want to be encouraging more colts sides, if that means we have to wait a few more weeks than so be it.

I believe the WAAFL is giving all teams the chance to finalise colts numbers, as evident in recent newsletters. Each year, a few games into the season, colts teams pull out due to lack of numbers. By delaying fixturing they are giving ample opportunity to teams who are borderline. Little delay now as opposed to restructuring grades a few games in.

Fairly logical, the league should be congratulated.

Word is that the Ammos are hoping to have colts fixtures finalised by tomorrow afternoon. The issue having been that there is 62 nominated colts teams and really only enough room for 60. If 2 don't pull out then look for the 2 lower grade colts comps to both have 11 in each grade therefore disrupting the format of home games on some weeks for teams that have colts,reserves,league. Colts will not always play at home when your seniors do.
