last week seen top spot Thornlie managed to just score with close to 30sec to go, to have a draw against Canning.
Noranda continued there good form taking care of the Mossies.
High Wycombe got the job done over canning vale.
Kenwick were too good for Brentwood.
Coolbinia managed a solid win over Warnbro

This week hopefully the weather gods are nicer to us all.

Canning Vale Vs Thornlie
Thornlie looking very good last week and have some good runners on the out side with also some solid body mids that are hungry. big D.Fry is always a hand full.
Thornlie by 10 goals

Noranda Vs High Wycombe (MOTR)
both in form teams at the moment and should see a great game of footy.
the Doggies just for me in this close one by 10 points

Kenwick Vs Coolbinia
another exciting game this week with both teams in the top half
Kenwick at home by a goal

Warnbro Vs Mosman Park
Warnbro at home against a struggling mossie side this year.
Warnbro by 8 goals

Canning SP Vs Brentwood
Canning had a really good hit out last week against the top side and should roll that over into this week against the Bulldogs that are yet to have a win.
Canning by 12 goals

Not much chit chat happening in the C2 comp this season.
exciting to have a read in the other forums tho. just saying.
maybe when LAG gets back from Bali he can heat things up a bit on what's happening and also tell us all about his trip.

thought id spice things up and we all have a vote on what banter we can talk about with some topics I have come up with. please feel free to add any more.

THORNLIE, paying players (seems to be happening in every other grade)
KENWICK, Caught taking drugs be for the game (turns out they were just tic tacks)
BRENTWOOD, To fold as no one shows up for training or game days
HIGH WYCOMBE, Caught with 20 players on the field.
Canning Vale, There team Shed blows away in a horrific storm.
CANNING, add more suburbs to there all ready long club name.
NORANDA, Come from behind win with only 16 blokes on the ground, only to be found that players are under fake names.
COOLBINIA, massive club fine for the club as whole ground covered in dog poop but game is still played and they win in a stinker.
MOSMAN PARK, asking clubs to donate footballs as all of theirs are kicked over the hill into the swan.
WARNBRO, team rolls in late to a game after a big nights fishing trip with opposition team refusing to play because of the smell of fish on the players

happy to roll with any of these, like I said, start a bit of banter and have some fun!

yeah the chat for our grade seems to have died off,

Brentwood had patches of good footy and have a few good players just seem to lack the numbers to consistently compete.

happy to run with any of the topics mentioned but I'd probably stay away from the paying players. been done to death and seems to bring out the crazies.

if they want to go for the longest name I think that Canning and Coolbinia should combine to create
Canning Coolbinia South Perth West Perth
commonly referred to as the Tigons

Thinking out side the box clarkson14, I like it

yer the whole playing players is a joke a some people just need to get on with and start worrying about there own back yard, but most importantly just start winning games of footy.

forgot to do my tips.

Thornlie v Canning Vale
surprisingly similar strategies considering their results both teams continually run. against us Thornlie just controlled the ball much better than Canning Vale did.

Noranda V High Wycombe
Noranda had a few early games that they kicked themselves to a loss I know against us they kicked 4.16 then 9.16 against canning round 2. now they are kicking straight they will be hard to contain they move the ball quickly and can rack up big scores if allowed to. haven't played high Wycombe yet so can't comment. but I'll take Noranda at home

Kenwick V Coolbinia
we have been travelling well after coming back up into this grade. not much to say on this game but I'll never tip against a team I play in(not worth the fine)

Warnbro v Mossie Park
the mosquitos aren't doing too well this year but I remember last team we were in this grade they started poorly then went on a run to finish the season and make finals. Warnbro are a disciplined side with some solid players who seem to light up when needed. I'll take the swans comfortably

CSP v Brentwood
in short Brentwood aren't travelling too well and Canning are on the up and have some game breaking players that when firing can single handedly win games. Canning by a big margin.

Interesting a pal over at thornlie said their coaches believe last weeks game against Canning was between the top two teams for the year. Hopefully see a good win at home tomorrow.

Ladder could start to sort out over coming month.

Funnily enough I heard the Thornlie actually pays their players' through "awards" post-game with up to 10 prizes up to $1,000 per game! They have at least 3 AFL players on their side and they will only ever do the coin toss at the start of the game with their own special coin
Other than that the kids who play down near the Swan water banks at Mosman Park and killing it big by cashing in big time with the re-sell of match-day balls

Moving on now, new round and new games to be had with what I expect to be more surprise results! Conditions today are forecasted to be ideal for our beloved winter sport- so we can witness some great ball handling skills today with some highs scores.

My tips for this round (subject to change at any quarter)

Thornlie v Canning Vale
Will be nothing of the sorts like last years blood-bath
Thornlie are a completely re-invigorated team and Canning-Vale is in some sort of form slump, with the players on paper but no results
Thornlie by 10 goals

Noranda V High Wycombe
High Wycombe to win this won after Noranda's full-forward to be hit by on-coming traffic on Tonkin Hwy at 3/4 time

Kenwick V Coolbinia
Kenwick have the youth, run and skills to be a good footy team
It's their time to shine today

Warnbro v Mossman Park
Warnbro will take this one out quite easily with their Jack Daniels littered lowered 6-cyl VN Commodores and 20inch chrome rims sending their red wine drinking Audi driving asses scurrying home down Rockingham rd with their tails between their legs

CSP v Brentwood
Brentwoon to be surely relegated this year given their current season
Canning/South Perth to comfortably smash their cross-river inferiors

Good weather to watch footy and have a few stubbies at Canning - looked scrappy at times but tigers lead all day and if they kicked straighter and didn't put cue in the rack in last probably would have been 10 goals plus.

One of the reserves boys told me there was 8 or more players out at the moment but I guess that's footy and all teams will lose players at different stages. Brentwood will struggle to win enough games to stay up and looked more focus on being a bunch of tough guys and The Tiges boys ended up getting in trouble for retaliating. Umpires lost control of the game late but when a team is behind all day and no chance and try to get more punches than kicks what do you expect. I was sitting behind the interchange and the Canning bench seemed pretty annoyed with the Bulldogs tactics

Good renovations at the club too. Been a long time coming
