we all know the player that played? just a shame we know him better than Noranda.
lets see what happens now.

Nothing will happen this is indicative of the Noranda FC coaching staff and committee etc.
Like many clubs that have loyall players in good and hard times unfortunately this means nothing at Noranda with practices like this and many others that have come out especially many of last years incidents that were well broadcasted.

And they can't see why players are walking and numbers are struggling with all grades
As I previously stated myself and a few others will not be part of this pathetic club next year and have pretty much made arrangements to go to mount Lawley, actually bit disappointed to have not made the move before the cut off date but in perspective I don't like the idea of jumping ship half way through even with what this club has done last year and this year

NO WONDER WE ARE A VERY DEVIDED club down at the hawks nest pretty easy to see on game day on and off the field especially at home games, within every team it's like a individual club.

Don't be surprised if more comes out of this and other incidents in the next few weeks

Seems to be a common problem that starts with the Eagles and works all the way down through East Perth and clubs that play within their zone. Not 100% that any premierships have been bought but clearly morals don't count when the ethics of a comp can be manipulated to suit certain clubs, WAFL club's included, but thats another gripe for another time.

Forward 50, for the record I'm no longer involved in amateur footy on any level, but what I will say is you have been all over the shop with some of your commentary this year on this site, especially early. Seems to me that you are actively reflecting some of the problems with your new club and jumping ship back to ur old one. My mail is that many Lawley boys moved across to Lightning Park at the beginning of the year. Has this led to these divisions you speak of. The ethics and problems at Lawley in the past seem to have spread, clearly it hasn't been any better over there in the past and we are all very aware of the money that has changed hands at that club in past years.

I'm asking as an observer of this site and if I'm wrong happy for you to correct me. I still have mates at Noranda and am interested for this reason alone.

B7, for the record up until this season in amateurs I can categorically tell you that any money thats changed hands at Noranda has not come from the club's finances. They haven't had any to give

Interesting post and i reckon this may happen a lot more in the latter part of the season. The only way to combat this is to go back to the old sustem where each player had a player card and umpires would do random checks on each team. Back when i was playing 5 players from each team wuld be required to show their card to umpires before every game.

Unfortunately without this system this is really no way of proving a club played an unregistered player. It is pretty much one clubs word bs the others. Unless of course u got a photo of them on field in clubs jumper

Its probabaly not appropriate to name players ...we would rather give the WAAFL a chance to do their thing.

But the club has provided irrefutable proof that the player on the field was not the player named on the teamsheet. There can be only one outcome according to the bylaws....they have to lose the points......

Unfortunately, when caught Noranda have tried to cover things up by changing the teamsheet later that night, and I understand are continuing to deny they did it.I suspect this might change things and I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens when the WAAFL investigates fully....I predict lots of tears.

We believe there were 4 players that played under false names.....were certain of two but could only absolutely prove 1. A photo his mother would be proud to hang on the wall.

I suspect that the WAAFL will find all this out without too much trouble and be doubly pissed off when they do.

Hopefully Noranda will just stop the crap, fess up and we can all move on without too much damage to our competition.
