Well feeling nice and refreshed after the week off, and the boys trained the house down on Tuesday night in preparation for our HUGE game vs balla this week end!

Onto this weeks games

Balla Vs Brentwood

Last time balla came down to the kennel and stole our 4 points so we are very much looking forward to doing the same at kingfisher! I think this is game of the round for mine and will determine who finishes in the top 2/3. Win this and I think the double chance may be safe assuming you do what is required in the other games! Brentwood to come away with a hard fought win, by less than a goal.

Swan View Vs East

I think Swan view easily here to keep their season on track They have too much at stake especially if Cockburn topple Ellenbrook, must win game for the view.

Ellenbrook Vs Cockburn

This could decide who finishes 6th and just misses out on finals, not a lot at stake but with wins being hard to come by this year both teams will be hungry, I’ll take Ellenbrook on their hill out in Coolamon. In saying that if Cockburn win and East get up, that 5th finals position is right up for grabs!

Dianella Vs Kenwick

this was close to game of the round call, another one that will decide the top 2/3 and I think it will show just how serious DM are. Get a win here and I would think they are definite contenders, in saying that I think Kenwick will get the job done by a couple goals

Rippers to come up against the bye, after last weeks ressies folding not sure if this has come at a good time or not, might be a good week to do some team bonding and see what they want to get out of the rest of the year

Some fantastic games this weekend that could really change the ladder. 1st v 3rd, 2nd v 4th, 5th v 8th, and 6th v 7th with Manning having the bye.

Ballajura vs Brentwood Booragoon
Last time they met:
Brentwood Booragoon 8.19-67 Def by Ballajura 13.3-81
Both teams fighting to gain second from the others, this game is extremely hard to pick with Balla having home ground advantage but Brentwood coming off the Bye and both being very good teams. Last time they played Brentwood’s accuracy kept them out of the game but I’ll take them to bounce back from their loss to DM and avenge their earlier loss.

Swan View vs East Fremantle
Last time they met:
East Fremantle 9.8-62 Def by Swan View 10.13-73
This game could be a closer game than many think, last time they played swan view only got over them by 11 points and seem to have a habit of playing close games, If a team takes East Fremantle lightly they could be in for a shock. Swan view will want to keep their buffer in 5th as the two teams below would still be eying them off so I’ll take them to hold firm at home.

Ellenbrook vs Cockburn Lakes
Last time they met:
Cockburn Lakes 14.12-96 Def Ellenbrook 7.7-49
Last time Ellenbrook played at Cockburn they got done over to the tune of 50 points, the Eels will be looking for payback and if they have any ambition towards that 5th spot they need a win here as do Cockburn. I would call this game 50/50 but I’ll go with the home side to get the win

Dianella Morley vs Kenwick
Last time they met:
Kenwick 8.17-65 Def Dianella Morley 9.5
Another top of the table clash with DM coming in with fantastic form having knocked off both teams they are tied for second with in successive weeks then disposing of Manning. We have the bye next week and are hoping to go into the bye 2 games clear of the teams behind us. Last time we played it was a goal inside the last minute that won us the game, this will be an extremely tough game against a very skilful side but we are confident we can get it done

Some real good match-ups this week.
Brentwood should beat every team in our comp, but I think they're a bit off atm, they'll fall this wknd to balla in a close one

Seeing as ellenbrook have given up in league and are more keen to win a ressies flag, Cockburn can beat em out in the brook. Cockburn by 3 goals
I'm really lookin forward to see how this goes. I think DM are on a roll and up n firing, hopefully they get the points over Kenwick. DM by 5 goals
