Well ellenbrook had it in the bag well there committee thought so
As there club room were all decked out with balloons etc for the prelim and the week before they had a band playing straight after the game

They certainly know how to get in front of themselves and celebrate 2 final losses
Straight sets again
Oh well there's always next year

All 3 GF games should be crackers.

Quick update charlie. The balloons are put up in the clubrooms from the junior committee as they have there awards nights in our rooms as its there oval aswell. Also we have bands and social functions at our club in order to generate a good fun culture. Im not sure how your club works bit we are a family club that enjoys the company of each other and also generate funds for our club. So clearly you have no idea about having a good cultured club in your local community.

Well said Salty I travelled north to Ellebrook and thought I would pop in for a look and I agree great game of hard footy.Ellenbrooks last quarter was fantastic and had control of the game and I thought bloody hell Ellenbrook are going to steal a win here escpecially when number 14 took a mark inside 50 but then one of ellenbrooks players gave away a free kick which resulted in a 50metre penalty and goal to Noranda and which not much time left you could see the ellenbrook player's head drop. Pretty average discipline. But other than that great game by both clubs!!

So you saying one incident cost the game? In the last qtr? And the other minutes of footy don't count ? Seriously!

Agree with Maggies here. A game of football is won or lost over 100 minutes, that 1 incident didn't cost the Eels the game. The run was left too late and wasn't enough to get over the line in the end.

I knew this was coming definetly not saying one incident over a 100 minutes cost Ellenbrook the game.But you work it out your team final fires up and you get the chance to hit the front after fighting back so hard from a mark and a shot at goals 30-40 metres can put your team in front but one undiscilpline act can change everything. Just from what I saw. It's finals footy and if Ellenbrook had won Whitey would you still say Ellenbrook left there run too late? I don't think so!!

Short memories fellas...was only a week ago everyone was crunching Maggies about how the siren at mossie park blowing 90 seconds after allotted time of 25mins probably cost Basso their 1st semi final. Possibly a little tongue in cheek here from Maggies....and nicely weighted I might add

Completely different, allotted time is allotted time. Whilst I weren't at the Ebrook game it sounds like all officials acted with in the rules. Different to the game I was at that you refer to, outside of the rules and time limits. Done and dusted now ! It took a while to accept, but what can you do ? Hearing mixed opinions about the Ebrook game too, not all happy there and the term chokers has been used. Not sure if that is accurate or not, just saying what people say. Good luck to the grand finalists this week .
