Makes you wonder why a few clubs lodge 23-27 players on the computer team sheets for ressies. I know the lists get ammended when the team sheets arrive at the league but 27 players?? i can understand 1 or 2 emergencies but fives taking the piss especially when coincidentally so many players managed to chalk up their fifth game.

Not within the spirit of the (C4 Ressies) game I would think. Plus the players that miss out on finals because of this would be pretty annoyed and probably leave. 5 games isn't alot. It's up there with the Essendon scandle.....

The other thing could be, as you know there are always a few people that don't feel like getting down to the club but then when they see the teams a decent chance of seeing finals suddenly all line up to play. Hard choices for the coaches to say whether they deserve a guersey.

The club I believe you are mainly looking at had 7 guys play their qualifying ressies game on the weekend (where 2 were already league qualified), so that means up to 5 guys got dropped from ressies to qualify a bloke or two. That's where it will start pissing off people if they've been doing the hard yards to stay in the team, but its about picking the best 22 & its coaches choice how he goes about it.

You boys know you shouldn't change your routine before a final. You should have stuck with the longbeach 50's instead of the Winnie blues. The river boys looked like they were pumped with blood and sand

Off to brown park we go!!
Feel for secrets, three losses at the kennel today! Was close till half time, when their bearded ruckman went down it was lights out!

13 year goal will be achieved next week, and we are one step closer to a 13 year dream!

What ever it takes..... No excuses....

The kennel and secret Harbour, they definitely found the ground difficult to conquer. Will probably be glad the they don't have to play back there this year.. The ressies, swan view had a lot more composure in the last quarter which solidified the win.

Wow on the margin of the other game though. Thought it could be either way, but never anticipated a blow like that. Do the river have some secret weapons or did jandakot just have a hanger burger challenge on Thursday night and forget to train?

Pure domination by our boys yesterday. Played the same blokes we had against the View last week with 2 players returning and actually having a full sude as last week we only had 17 by games end. We came ready and preparedto make sure our finals ccampaign wouldn't be over in the first week. Now onto The Harbour, not gonna enjoy the facilities at their ground but will enjoy the victory when it happens to take on the opponent.

Maybe The Harbour boys found the ground tough because the "centre circle" is actually on the wing. Luckily our Ressies boys prepared for that on Thursday night when they did their centre clearance work in the car park.
Should be a good tussle with them and TA's this week with the Maggoos likely to be fielding their strongest team for the year.
Cracking day of footy it will be at Brown Park with 3 2nd semi's on the card. Hopefully the weather will be fining up by then.

Hope they splash out and invest in another esky or two for their "bar" or there'll be a lot of thirsty people around!
