Hi Fellas
Made my way down to Melville on Saturday to watch a pretty good game of footy .It was my first look at the ground and I could now see why some boys where saying its a unique ground (size wise). Disappointed at the marking of the ground very hard to see the boundary.
The game was very tight all day with Melville coming out and kicking the first two goals in about 3 minutes. Kelmscott replied with the next two and it was like that for most of the day. At three quarter time Rams where up by a point ,they came out and kicked the first two goals and where out to a 13 point lead with in 2 minutes .In a great quarter of footy Kelmscott came back to with in 2 points behind the Rams .With about 2 minutes to go Rams where up by a point, Kelmscott then kicked a behind. From the kick out Kelmscott where able to intercept the kick and kick it in to the ruck man 15m out directly in front .Not quite shore if it was a plan or not but he missed the goal the ball went into the car park and by the time they where set to kick out the siren went. The first time of the game Kelmscott had lead all day.
There where good players all over the ground for both teams with no29 kicking 4 and no10 kicking 3 for Melville. With Kelmscott spreading the scoring among the team. It was fantastic atmosphere there with the Rams supporters really encouraging there players one supporter in particular .If the coming finals can replicate that game we will be in for a great final series.
