Looks like round17 was a good round. Coolbinia West Perth can still avoid relegation if they beat or draw with Kingsway this weekend and Kingsley lose to Wanneroo. While Thornlie are destined for C2 in 2014.

What a day it was down at Gosnells. I only saw half the colts game yet it appeared as though Wanneroo played well all day. Hopefully they can keep that up and not drop off come finals time, should be a good game next weekend against Kingsley. They won by 90 odd points I believe.

The reserves also had a good win, for some reason they played with only 19 in the first half and were down to 18 with an injury but then some trooped arrived and they played the second half with 21. They had a good win in the end.

It was here things got interesting as we waited for the league game to start. I wondered over to the canteen an treated myself to a bucket of hot chips. They were crunchy and differed from the normal chip size chip, they were a cross between chunky cut and resembled ones you'd be treated to in a pub. I was quite happy. I will give them a rating of 8.5 out of 10. Only problem was the quantity, no overflow for that I deduct a 1.5 points. Good effort Gosnells.

At the start of the league game 15-20 gentleman who belonged to a motorbike establishment took up a viewing area directly behind Wanneroo's bench. Wanneroo had a good start to the game though, kicking the first few goals which had a gone out to a 6 goal lead at quarter time. I stood next to a few of the motorbike club members and lets just say, even Mr Mysterious was quite intimidated, so during the second quarter I sat in the stand to avoid my new found "friends" yet it started raining during the second quarter and the motorbike group joined me and my fellow club members in the stands. Wanneroo took it out to a 9 goal lead at half time. During half time the motorbike group took up residence in our dugout and stayed there for the entire 3rd quarter. Quite interesting. There was never any real incidents in the a,e e cept that a Gosnells player threw his elbow out at a Wanneroo player after he dodged him. The umpire gave him a yellow card for his troubles. Wanneroo won by 60 points and did what they needed to do. Looking forward to a night game v Kingsley next weekend.
Nothing else occurred except for the bus tyres nearly being let down and the water being possibly contaminated. All in all a good day.
Looking forward to hearing some other reports from the games, sounds like Melville v Kelmscott and Lynwood v CWP were good games.

WOW!

The police should've been called.

Poor by Gosnells, I hope they don't accept this sort of stuff. Your better off riding yourself of the player who has the connection. Bringing a Bikie gang to an amateur footy game is a blight on society and a sad day for footy.

Sitting in the dugout the whole 3rd quarter! Ridiculous.

Does Gosnells still have the same president as in recent seasons? Brian I think his name is.
I can't see him tolerating having bikies occupy the visiting teams dug out for the qtr.
MM,will Waneroo be making a complaint because this kind of stuff should definitely be reported.

It was as good of a day as it could be for the roo boys. 3 solid wins, with league and ressies still having plenty of players to return from injury in the next week or 2.

Regarding the bikies, I dont think there is anything the police could have done. In fact it might have made things worse if the cops were called. They hadnt broken the law (apart from wearing club shirts), werent starting fights or anything. Yes they were intimidating, but that is not a crime.
Either way, I am happy that shit didnt get out of hand and wanneroo went home on the bus with 3 wins and plenty of booze.

Sounds like a normal Saturday afternoon in sunny Gosnells.

Im not sure what all you blokes from Wanneroo are carrying on about. if you though Gosnells Oval was intimidating on Saturday arvo you should have spent a few hours at the Gossie pub before the trip home, Bikes boobs and brawls are all part of Saturday night down there, and you have not been chucked out of a venue until you have been bounced by one of them down the steps of the nightclub

Sounds like some big blokes turned up to the footy on their bikes and watched the game from where they wanted to watch the game from, isnt this why crowds come to a game.

Im suprised Mr M didnt have the guts (pardon the pun be he does have alot of guts) to ask them for their take on the chips being served up...

Haha really I don't know why people thought they were that intimidating I'm pretty sure the guys on our bench were just talking to one of the assistants about Harley's.

Also if you look at the scores on the waafl website it says kingsway league beat ocean ridge by about 40 odd points.

Kingsway League secured 3rd spot with a 49 point win.

Any reports to come out of the Melville v Kelmscott game? With the Rams being in red hot form, it was a surprise to see Kelmscott beat them at their Auskick ground! Maybe a preview of an upcoming finals match!
