Before anyone gets on here and comments about the results I'd like to point out that no one from kenwick in anyway wanted relegation. (As Rumour Mill previously suggested) the fact is we have obviously struggled to this point of the season due to lack of numbers and a few injuries to key players. As a player I resent any implication we didn't want to win. Snesa were better on the day and deserved their win. While I think there is still a slim chance of staying in C2 with a very big win next week I back kenwick to bounce back sooner rather than later. We have a quality core and with a little more polish can challenge the top sides. It's easy to judge from the outside but rest assured we're doing everything to keep kenwick going. We are far from a spent force.

and further to Doey19's comments but on a different slant...mate wanna pass on thanks to your club and Niel for the great hospitality and cross suburb friendship by letting us use your ground and facilities today .great to see we can all work together..

Tight tussle played in shocking conditions down at warnbro on Saturday! Mossies were a point up at half time when the rain set in. Warnbro was the better side on the day! Great finish coming up to the season and finals! Any of the 4 sides in the finals could be there against quinns on GF day

I must say Doey my previous comments were intended as a spark. I wanted you boys to stay in the grade to save us a trip out to the Valley. Also think you have the one of the best grounds in amateur footy. Am sure we will be seeing you back sooner rather than later.

We will be back there's no doubt about that. But you're sadly mistaken if you thought an Internet post by a faceless person would be more motivation then wanting
to keep our club in the highest possible grade

Tough day for the Cougars!!!

The Cubs will finish second if they beat Manning this week, setting up a re-match of this fixture. In poor conditions, this game was an interesting one. On the scoreboard, it seemed the Cougars were in control throughout the game but that was far from the case. As the lucky one who did the goal-umpiring whilst it was pouring down, I got to see this game up close. Not a bad game to watch with both sides fighting hard for the ball all day. In the end, the Quinns Colts were kept to 1.1 in the second half.

Reserves

Again, the super two's lost 'by less than us'.. Another tough game for our Reserves... Quinns too big, too strong and too experienced. 2 or 3 Reserves guys rewarded with a game of League as finals are out of the picture. Next week vs Manning is the GF for our two's. I'm backing them in for a win!!!

League
First time I got to see Quinns up close as was injured last time. They are the real deal. I was stunned with the way in which Warnbro moved the ball last week in dry conditions - Quinns were just as good, but in conditions more accustomed to dolphins. I can't see them losing a game this year. We were out-ran, out-sized and out-classed. 6th place for us this year - I would say that is par for our young side. Finish with a bang next week against Manning and get behind our Colts as they are our only side in finals.

Bit early on the Colts rematch I reckon?? What if Warnbro beat Quinns?
Might be a rematch of a couple weeks ago instead.
Anyway your Colts have 2nd stitched up and the well deserved 2nd chance.
Good year for them especially with the numbers that have had to double up.
