Brentwood had a training drill against roleystone. Not to kick a club while it is down, but they were rabble. Rocked up with no coach, no umpire and no respect. Only interested in laying cheap shots. Feel sorry for the little fella who tried his guys out all day, but in the end they had too many passengers.

Any one know the result of harbour vs Cockburn?

Wouldn't think they did themselves any favors either as they are just 2 points in front of us and two games in front of TA's with the vastly improved Cobra's at Davilak next week.

Are Secret Harbour waiting for the NBN roll out to reach them before they invest in the internet? I don't think they have submitted a result for the match day results for any of their home games to date..

It would apper you can take the club out of the mercantile league but you can't take the mercantile league out of the club

Every club received an iPad didn't they?? Maybe they hocked theirs to pay for the fantastic bar set up they have.

Only the one upset this week with TA's keeping their hopes alive. Their remaining 4 games are against the bottom 4 teams and if they win all of them I think they will make it. Jandakot have to play the 2 tops teams and I'd think would need to win one of them along as the other 2 to stay in the 5 and i dont think they are any certainties against Roleystone this week despite the the Tigers showing their true colours last week.Osborne Park still a chance also but would have to also win all 4 which includes a game against Brentwoond and the last game against Jandakot which hopefully will decide their fate,would keep things interesting. Surely The River are safe??!

Probably our worst performance for a while but ya can't dominate every game and credit to The Park,we new their season was on the line and they threw everything at us. Really good to see a club like that not giving up and if not for their poor start to the year would be in the 5 I'd say. Definitely better than where they are on the ladder. Cheers to the boys who stayed around for our awards as well.
Anyway,they still have some hope and we move on to a top of the table clash this week. Weather should be fine so should be a good game.

TA's v. Ossie Park this weekend will be a good game you'd think. Ossie Park have their season on the line as on form they'll be a chance in all their remaining games.

Southern River have Cockburn @ Cockburn and although Cockburn were thumped at Secret Harbour; they are certainly a much better side at home. Southern River also have a Swan View encounter and a Roleystone @ Roleystone to round out the season.

Jandakot - tough run home. Playing Roley @ Roley, then the two top sides - so fingers crossed we put up a good fight. Season on the line every game.

Would think that until this weekend at least 4th and 5th positions are wide open.

Fitting really in what has been the most "all-round" competitive season I've ever seen in the WAAFL in grades i've been involved in. There are no easy games with all sides competitive on their day. Usually there are one or two sides you would pencil in the W when you played them.

Tough day down at The River. Our boys led all day until the last 10 mins of the game when TAs got the jump on us. They kicked the last 3 goals and we just flopped. Our morale has taken a hit and with guys missing training, its hard to band together and finish off games. This week's game is an absolute must win for us. On another note, TAs umoirw was the worst we've had all year. He umpired both games and was completely biased towards his side. It was as though he was in a Boomers jumper. He did make some calls our way but they were blatantly obvious decisions. At half time of the league game, I saw him standing around with the Reserve Ta players laughing and carrying on which leads me to think that something was array. The bloke was yoing enough to play for TAs too. I don't normally have a dig at the umpires as they call it how they see it, but this guy was a cheat. All frees that would normally get paid for weren't called by him if it was in our favour, such as in the back, holding and chopping of the arms. I'd be wary of this guy if you're playing TAs in the coming weeks as he could cost you the game, some say he did in our game. Rant over
