Very disappointing witnessing what is going on with football in West Australia at the moment.

Eg country, (Upper Great Southern League) today's news on WAFL  and from a personal perspective being involved with PFL integrity

The WAFC is not without blemish here.
As posted previously WAFC was contacted regarding circumstances behind a club being 'stripped' of right to participate in not one but two final series.

The female WAFC leagal representative  whilst initially being 'extremely' interested in circumstances was to put simply "uncontactable" there after.??

Time to let it go one would think. It’s getting kinda sad now as clearly the club moved on and won a number of premierships since…..maybe it’s time you for to do the same?

good luck

Highlands,
Thanks for advice.

However not concerned about whether people think they know my identity or not...
As posted in earlier thread,
It is about trying to have those involved held accountable, if not (maybe even in attempting to do so) it will alleviate the chances of another club having to endure the same Travesty.

If nothing else i hope there are those out there that are now a little wiser to what actually occured.

Highpants, regardless i will take your thoughts on board.

PS ...not appropriate to be throwing  any  names out.

This happened in 2017 didn’t it? May I ask how it is affecting the clubs involved in 2023?

Mr AFL,
The "conviction" occured in 2017 and as is now public record both sides (reserves, league) were banned from G/F and Prelim. Immediately.
The league banned from finals also in 2018, along with President banned for holding office for four months, Coach for six months (as he insisted his innocence in written submissions)

Where the club (up till recently at least as I'm no longer involved) suffered lasting ramifications was in recruiting!!
Particularly Colts, as word spread quickly about the conviction among the senior junior teams and clubs.
The colts coach was continually met with "How much you gonna pay me" responses from juniors (even those where a relationship had been established) this lasted several years.
The clubs reputation took a severe hit at junior level and up until I left that was still lingering and it was making a tough job even tougher to get the clubs future established.

Thanks for the response Stinker.  From what you’ve said it seems like it’s been a difficult time for all.

Unfortunately though, even if those accusations are proven to be false, mud sticks and the there will always be someone with a comment regarding what did or didn’t happen.

Hopefully the club can move forward and have a positive 2023 season.
