I reckon 60 million bucks in 6 years buys the wafc every right to pick a coach. Fark, does this mean the WAFC wasted 200 million in the last 20 years. Thats a lot of irony if the wafl cannot be banked on to develop players as well as it develops debt. If i was handing out that much cash I would have looked at a lot more then a colts coach.

I am not going to bag out a volunteer coach from the community.

What i have said about WAFL clubs and their commitment to develop is true, stop trying to argue it, why pay 10k for a player and use a volunteer coach for arguably the most important role at the club???

U can do the usual bullshit and blame the WAFC, anybody with half a brain can see via Google he is a swans appointment.

It's the reason the colts were taken off the WAFL.

According to the wafl rules and regulations the Wafc oversees the selection and appointment of colts coaches
You really need to take your beef up with the wafc as they wrote the rules

You might want to check your claims with the wafc, you seem to think I have the answers despite the wafc running the colts system so unsure why you are seeking answers from me.
Your ceo is a wafc employee, maybe he knows the answer ?

I know what a few clubs paid, it's probably a leading question that when answered with 5k I would have said duh?? And u wonder why the colts were taken off u.

The WAFL clubs do not prioritize development as a pathway. They prioritize league premierships by paying players...

Simple maths.. show me a club that pays 20 - 40k for a part time colts coach.

Yes, I can say without any fear of contradiction from Morrison, Harding Spencer, (Hickmott - short term) Cooper, were all in the 20-40k bracket at Swans

Hallelujah... And those coaches have the experience to demand that sort of money and should be in charge of development.

UHT,
You are making a great stand for community football.

I hope there is a complete clean out of 'vested interests'in our game.

I agree, clean out the vested interests, the WAFC boss and head of talent going is a good start.
Created a mess, hopefully the commission clean out is next.
