Chaddy22 how about what the players would like? I have every confidence that the vast majority of WAFL drafted players would prefer to play for their WAFL club they were drafted from when playing WAFl games rather than the host club alignment or what you propose.
One thing i know is that they would all like to be playing afl not wafl.all afl drafted players have no choice as to who they play for.Any west australian playing for a victorian afl side has to play for whatever team that is stand alone or host/aligned.Remember the eagles have shifted local players and traded players to eastern states sides and no player i know of complained so long as they get a chance to play afl and not wafl.swan 42 you need to move on.I can't see the comp going back to what you want and i personally hope for either stand alone or afl reserves teams.It was bad enough when the royals were not aligned that we had to play underperforming eagles or dockers.Ask any east perth supporter about bennett copping.
