FMD Glory season season is just about done and dusted 6 games in with just the one win against Wellington who are stone motherless last. Lost all 3 home games. Defence is almost non existant. It's been a horror off season losing so many and apart from Fornarolli the replacements have not measured up. F..k knows why Drillbit is still on the list. He exposes us down back. I reckon Glory are going to need to cut a few of these duds and bring in the replacements for the replacements or they can kiss this season goodbye.

As I posted earlier in the season the Glory are a shadow of the team that took the field last year- Keogh (who consistently put the ball in the back of the net), Davidson, Lowry, Spiranovic etc are all gone and replaced by players with lesser ability imho.
Also Castro is another year older and not having the same influence, even Kilkenny hasnt been as prominent as last season.
I expect them to finish in the bottom 4 at seasons end.

The Glory are back with a bang after a very sluggish start it's all starting to fall into place now. Improved fitness Poppa keeps harping on about constantly improving and players starting to gel.

James Meredith is starting to find his groove, good move by Poppa starting Chianese and dropping Ikonomidus to the bench. Not sure if it was form or he's starting to rotate players to freshen them up for the Asian club championship.

But it worked out well with Chianese finding the net with a cracking left foot strike, Kilkenny slotting home the penalty and the two maestros strutting their stuff to bag 2 each.

From last a few weeks ago to 4th in the blink of an eye.
