This game is a good learning curve for the Perth team. The Glory seemed all at sea in the first half. Looks to be getting more ball possessions after the long break. Great telecast by sbs. I don't think the near capacity crowd on this cold wet night expect the Glory to win the match. They are only currently 1 goal down. They've done well so far.

Glory aren't in the same class as Chelsea. It was a nothing game. Just a warm up for the season proper. Official attendance was 55,552.

And a warm up game for Chelsea before the English soccer season gets under way. Apparently they have a new coach that the players would need to get used to etcetera.
Apparently the wheels are already in motion for another exhibition match like this one to be played next year.

Another fantastic result for the stadium

55 522 turned out on bleak Monday night to see a friendly game between a giant and a minnow.

As games go it was pretty ordinary, but a tremendous result for the City, lets hope we get more EPL teams out here, if we could get Man United and perhaps another playing each other it would be awesome, Arsenal are in Singapore at the moment, it would of been great to have Arsenal v Chelsea here.

Yep after half time Chelsea put on a heap of kids from the development squad.

Interesting the amount of youth EPL teams are now developing locally, and given England has just won the Youth World Cup its having dividends.
