Haven’t seen any games and but might go along and see some live , from past experience it’s not a bad night out in summer.

Can anyone give me a run down of the season so
Far?

Welcome back Bazz...hopefully you had a nice holiday.

Thanks very much BC...

Yes took a couple of months off and did a big trip first stop London and Yorkshire to see Christmas there and catch with a heap of people and then up to Scotland to catch up with a few more people and enjoy the Xmas spirit there which was great. The across to Boston as well Toronto Niagara and New York for NYE and Washington, went to a NHL Ice Hockey game while there.

Then down to Mexico , across to Cuba which was very interesting, and then Peru , Machu Picchu and BA Argentina and Rio Brazil.

I think the travel bug is quelled for a while now, nice to get back and enjoy life in WA, you really realise how lucky we are here, especially going through places like Baltimore and Philadelphia a lot of the US looks totally rooted, no wonder they voted Trump.

bugger me...that's a pretty decent trip mate. You certainly covered some ground. I'm not surprised you're knackered and glad to be back in sleepy hollow.

Yeah I counted it up roughly - it was 30,000 Nautical Miles or 56, 000 Km, called into Paraguay and Panama as well.

Lucky you did it that order Baz US customs would have been checking for links to Al Chapo in your phone history while he's on an extended holiday in the states.

Meanwhile Glory rolling along nicely. Game of the season coming up this weekend taking on Victory on their dung heap for a top two clash. If we get the 3 points that should pretty well sew up the Premiers Plate at least. I think we really need to win this match.

Yeah, have to say the US Border Officials were grumpiest most miserable pricks on the whole trip, compared to UK and South America that were really friendly.

The Victory game should be a ripper, at least its something to watch rather then Womens AFL..lol

Congrats to the Glory on winning the Premiers Plate. Now just the cup to come although injuries to Juande, Davidson and Ikonomides are a bit of a worry...but a terrific effort nonetheless.

Disappointing 1-0 away defeat to Sydney FC but I'd sooner be Glory than them given we were missing Keogh, Ikonomides, Davidson, Juande and Spiranovic...all first choice players and Sydney were pretty much full strength and only missing Brosque. One game to go then finals....bring it on.

Actually I thought it was quite an entertaining game BC. Glory still looked sharp and well set up. It would have been a worry if we lost 3 or 4 nil. Great to see Chris Harrold get a run in the second half after having a bad bout of chicken pox earlier in the season and also got a look at one of Poppas boys Christian Popovic who looks like an exciting prospect.

I reckon it will be a line up closer to the A team in the last game against Wellington before the week off they've earned before the semi final.

I thought the first half was a bit pedestrian tbh DD then livened up after half time. Glory could and should have equalised with a number of solid chances and a mountain of possession but that's soccer I guess. I agree though that young Poppa certainly didn't look out of place for a 17yo. I don't think we'll see too much of him in the A league unfortunately...I think Europe might beckon in the next year or so. Chris Harold has been very unlucky getting chicken pox as an adult and think he might look for opportunities elsewhere next year which would be a shame as I reckon he offers something.
