He would have every right to be concerned. It would be following a similar article written in May of last year.

They should send a copy of his letter to the morons @ the WAFC because we are heading in the same direction!

Probably far too late for that Falcon?
Our excuse of a commission would show no interest in said letter.
They simply been telling lies over the past several years which has seriously eroded the Wafl away. Certainly makes them look very incompetent!!
Maybe it's not to late for the SANFL. I know their crowd numbers have declined, but not as bad as ours. Maybe by speaking out, they may be able to turn it around over there?

I have always said they are worse off than us for a number of reasons which I will not go over again here. Interestting Kennett has complainned about the situation in Tasmania, and yet, he has been involved with Hawthorn and the AFL for twenty years. What has he done about it?

Well done to Todd Curley for coming out and telling the world the damage that an AFL mid season draft would do to the 2nd tier competions and to the West for highlighting it on the back page. At least there are some people still standing up for our competition even though the WAFC don't seem to care.

It's diabolical what's been allowed to happen over there. What makes me really angry is the tasmanian football webpage openly says [=quote= since the league began in 2009.] Some one obviously drunk when that statement was made! Didn't Tasmania win the AFC in the 1960's? How come they win the Australian Championships in the 1960's, if their football league didn't start until 2009? Doesn't make sense?

The SANFL has been a good competition over the years and hoping they can hold it together. Would be fantastic to see some positive outcome from Lairds article. Would be fantastic to see others start voicing concerns too.
Sadly can't say the same for the Wafl. :( is rapidly approaching irrelevancy, if not already.
Gives me no joy to say that at all!

Nisbett speaks with a forked tongue.

I remember an interview he did on PR during which he said that West Coast were considering applying to play matches on Saturday afternoons up against the WAFL.

When asked how he thought that would affect the WAFL attendances, his reply was to say that the WAFL could work out their fixtures round West Coast's matches.

Trevor Nisbett hey - the same slimy scumbag who hid serious narcotic abuse on a mass scale and had Ken Judge sacked when he wanted to expose it ???
Would not waste my spittle on that deceptive prick nor believe a single word it uttered

Sorry for getting off topic - That reminds me of the famous newspaper cartoon. It depicts a goat sitting at the bar in a pub. Sitting alongside Ken Judge and Damian Drum, where both men have 3 knives in their back. The barman says to the goat, "We don't serve scapegoats in here". The goat responds, "Why not! You just served my two mates".
