The big fella will hang up the boots at the end of the season. The last two years have obviously taken a big toll on him IMO. If you look at his whole time as CEO he has been a part of implementing some of the biggest changes in our game and taking it into the 21st Century.

Now is the time for some new blood to continue the growth of the game.

The guy appears to have a massive ego and despite being in charge during some of the biggest scandals in the history of the game, seems very reluctant to take responsibility for any of it. Teflon man... Won't be missed IMO

there was talk Eddy Collingwood was in the hunt to replace Demitriou.
that WOULD be the end of football as we know it.
Eddy cracked when given the channel 9 job, couldn't handle it. He was out of his depth. He is ok at Collingwood & the media, but he would be out of his depth and have a major conflict of interest.

Dillon McLaughlin should be named now and cut all the bulldust. It will be a 12 month media circus coming up now, when the obvious choice is right there.

That would be great. Eddie might be able to do another fund raiser for Swan Districts like he did once before on Channel 9.
