So now we know which players are under investigation and who have admitted to using the banned drugs AOD9604 and Thymosin, I can't see how these drug cheats can get off and some big names amongst them.

Being a FREO supporter the loss of Gumby wont effect Freo to much having got him at pick 55 and for one year on the minimum wage, the Western bulldogs will feel ripped off getting Crameri as a second rounder.

I may be going early condemning these guys but these drugs are banned under the WADA code I don't see anyway out for them.

I reckon its goodnight nurse on the integrity of the 2014 AFL season if this sh1t hits the fan.

Can't see golden boy Hird being welcomed back with a ticker tape parade come finals time if this comes to fruition.

Peter, I am not sure that the term USING drugs is correct.I think it should be more like were unknowingly injected with a banned substance.Not sure they were using them of their own volition.Yes they should have queried,but most rely on the club and the club doctors to do the RIGHT thing by them.The club is to bale from the Ceo down,including Hird.
Yet again we have Little saying everyone else is to blame bar the Essendon Football Club.
Yet again we will have another yet that is tainted by players playing for Essendon and getting away with it.Will we have the same scenario as last season,Essendon make the eight but are banned from the finals!!

A/M I don't see how they used these drugs unknowingly they did sign consent forms, and I believe they knew exactly what they were doing and that was to get an advantage over the opposition.

Don't know about you but when I go to the doctor and I need to get an injection I sure as hell ask what it is.

I have no doubt infractions are coming unfortunately this process is going to take a while even though the investigation has come to an end, this is going to drag on for a few more months at least.

You're right Peter, if the doc is going to inject you, you certainly ask the question. I don't know how much influence the AFL has in this, but they will certainly try to protect the golden boy and his club. I have a feeling this will die a slow painless death and Esserden will smile and give the world the bird. They certainly haven't shown an contrition yet.
