Yep nothing like having a key forward, its funny everyone has written us off at Swans this year but we still have one of the strongest spines going around from Ames, Simpson, (Elari, Riggio, Davis, young Faulkner and some other fresh talent through the middle etc) Notte and Geappen. I wouldn't be too quick to write us down as an easy victory this season for any team. Our Ruck stocks are a weakness and height in general but who knows who might emerge and that's an exciting prospect to look forward to. But Subi will be In the mix for sure

What are you paying the players with - 1.8 Million in debt and massive cost cutting - Id be seriously concerned at the motivation of blokes playing for bottletops???

Probably the same way Cicco payed the players at South and Randall at Subi

Change of the guard in the backs with no Parker and Randall but I think we've got some good ones as back-up and I like the look of young Jackson.
Goals are required so who's stepping up Deluca/Picket or the young fella from Baldivis ??? Can any of the recruits bag a few ??? We need someone to come to the party as we don't have a Broadhurst anymore either - I thought he may have been a chance to return in 2014 ???

Horse will be good for 2 or 3 per game & I recon Stockley will do ok in the ruck & free up McDougall a bit so he should be able to score a few. Also the 2 big vic boys are capable of big hauls...

I like your optimism but Horse will struggle to kick 40 plus for the season and I hope your on the money with the others - Especially Stockley in the ruck as Dougs would be a good chance for goals if up forward. As for the 2 x eastern stater's I haven't seen them yet but we're in need of getting a return on our signings as we've struggled a bit of late in that regard.

FYI Horsley's goals - 2009 only 4, 2010 went better with 10 and 2011 when he played on the ball all year and was our Fairest & Best in 23 games he only got 14.
He's never been a big goal scorer - played 91 games for Subi for 44 goals but was used defensively for a while I think ??? Great to have the Horse back and I have no doubt he'll give us 100% but I hope we're not looking to him for goals or we're in deep shit !!!

Yep remember it well - I hope he's good for a few sausage rolls but like I said 2-3 goals a game I think would be a push. Hope your correct but we'll need them from elsewhere i'd think ???

Changing tack a bit does anyone with Subi connections know the where-abouts of David Goaudis who was delisted by Richmond a couple of years ago ?

He's still about 25 I would think and was about 90kgs and 190-195cm and a key backman. He'd be a handy player for Subi and stuff all points !!!

Chop - Last year I read something about David Gourdis not playing or retired due to serious injury , just for the life of me cannot remember exact details ... maybe BH could either correct or clarify here
