Lets get the facts right.. We are not getting an Indian test due to the fact they are playing 4 tests... We have 6 states.
The Indians will be playing to a tight schedule due to the fact they have to get back to one of their money making tournaments.
Nothing to do with the WACA being sub standard and crowd capacity even though the ACB is similar to the AFL in it is a money game now.

Adelaide definately has a drop in pitch as mentioned during the test there
SA next test series in Sth Africa...

Cricket is running to a very tight schedule as can be shown by the dropping of the Shield games until next year due to the Big Bash?

Perth is the major casualty of Australia's truncated 2014-15 Test summer, stripped of its annual match for the first time since 1976-77. Only four Tests are scheduled for a season in which India will visit, due mainly to the fixturing squeeze created by the 2015 World Cup, and the nation's two smallest and youngest major grounds in Perth and Hobart have been left off the Test calendar.

Viewing's great from every seat but half the crowd is in the sun and I fried out there yesterday - The Pom's were getting cooked on and off the field and as a world venue for fans it would be one of the worst !!!

It is obvious I am a lover of the WACA but that comes with the territory.
I think it is a wait and see game.
After India we play NZ and WI. Both of these games could see a test at the WACA. I cant see the ACB dropping Perth off the calendar?
Manuka oval at Canberra has been mentioned as a replacement ground but that is unconfirmed. They would only have a capacity of 15-16 thousand so what would that achieve?

The WACA has dropped the redevelopment and it will cost them 3 million to the contractor etc. Big hole in the budget but not insurmountable.
We will still have Local Cricket,Big Bash, 50/50 and Shield cricket at the WACA and that cant be taken away from us.

As for tests time will tell. With the new stadium going up who knows but it will be a big loss IMO for the WACA to move their.

The WACA would still be kept for 1st Class Games, Sheffield Shield, Ryobi Cup and Tests vs the lower drawing nations like NZ, SL, Pakis etc I would think Cardy!

Oh well another Management debacle by the WACA - finally come clean today the WACA redevelopment plans have collapsed.

Time for them to get their head out of the sand and do a deal with Burswood, better do it quick before the ACB cuts them out the picture.

The massive crowds the sheffield shield attracts suit the waca.

If they are 3 or 4 match series, tests will not be played here, only if they are 5's and they are rare as these days.

So once every 3 years or so we might get one.

Bazza almost every Summer there are at least 5 or 6 Tests played in Australia next year being a one off because we are holding the World Cup here and have to condense the season down!
