haven't laughed that hard in ages.

I can only wonder what brownie said to Fred Book after EP won that flag in 1972. when Fred asked big Mal to come into the main room for a drink with him & the board. Mal asked if the players could join them, Fred declined.
So brownie gave him a few "choice" words and took all the players to the Jackson Hotel (think that's what it was called) across the road from Perth Oval.
That didn't go down well but we all know brownie. He is an icon for being a straight shooter. respect him for that
