Seems that there a number of sporting bodies who do not or do not want to see concussion as an issue in sport.

Will Pucovski has once again struck on the head -  www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/feb/12/pu...out-of-comeback-game  and subbed out.

Then we have McCartin going to play for the Swans despite having a serious history of concussion.

There is sufficient evidence from Polly Farmers issues, Tucks and the NFL studies that tell us that repeated head knocks are a huge health concern let alone repeated concussions.

There needs to be greater concern shown at all levels of sport for the issue or it will one of those  that come back to bite the bodies on the rrr's.
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Sadly Grump, it appears that the only sensible decision for Pucovski now is to retire from cricket and hopefully he can take up a sport in which the risk of concussion is a lot lower. An awful decision to have to make but there comes a point where the welfare of the person and their quality of life transcends sport.

Not wishing to state the obvious. Probably time that contact sports set a requirement for participants to wear headgear. A type of medium soft head covering to greatly reduce the risk of receiving concussion. Definitely not a hard type like motorcycle helmets would be a no no. Boxers wear helmets nowadays and done so for many years. Skateboarders are required to wear head gear. Even piloting a pushbike around now require a helmet. I reckon should have been introduced into Wafl ages ago.
