I wont get any bullshit test at any time, if I have a sore throat and a cough I will stay home like any other time in history and get back to business when it has cleared up.

SD, what if you have strep throat, tonsillitis, quinsey or an URTI mate, which requires oral antibiotics .....Will you stay at home then till it passes? I guess you have no choice but to stay at home, as no GP or ED Dr will see you unless you get swabbed first.......decisions decisions decisions......

Freeze I understand what SD is getting at, I know my body and I understand what is wrong often enough to know whether I need a DR's visit. If I had any doubt I would err on the side of a DR. 

Having said that given the populations record of going to ER's and DR's with things that can be managed by over the counter crap and other minor ailments folk using common sense and not OVER reacting will be a good thing but good luck getting the great unwashed doing that and yes I am being judgementle

Grump, I actually applaud SD for taking the common sense approach and self isolating at home till symptoms subside....but in all honesty very few people actually do isolate to the letter.....at some point they pop out of their self isolation to do a quick errand here and there when symptomatic.....just human nature.

What I was asking SD was,  if his sore throat/cough was more then simple analgesia, fluids and rest,  would he get tested if he needed a medical review? Can't think of any ED or GP not enforcing one, especially in today's current climate.

Why would you they aren't accurate, I saw a vid of someone putting one under the tap and it came up positive. Actually second thoughts there's an idea for you mate, grab a few surely one will come up positive under the tap, then you can go to the footy. Did you see that one of the 3 poor people who unfortunately passed from covid in qld yesterday was 103yo??

I see about 25% of Kalgoorlie folk over 15yo are not jabbed, and he's about to cut off the bottle-o to them hahahaha that will end well
