Sitting having morning coffee and cheese and chive scone, lots of butter. The news came on reporting the numbers in the other states and her asked abt the RAT and if we could get them and I told her yep.

We then talked abt the lines in NSW and Vic who both have 90% or more vax'd rates and why they are all lining up to be tested. Yes we know that the RATs arn't available but if you're vax'd then why line up to be told a result that really doesn't or won't stop you doing stuff when we open up!

WE decided that we will get our RATS when we can, give half to our daughter but unless we get really crook we will not be lining up like lemmings to be tested, our decision and our opinion. 

I think it's up to the individual, but I would only get the PCR test if I had been a close contact. The Fed cabinet has now approved free Rat's for concession card holders so those people can get them free if they can find one. 

I don’t scan myself in anymore, I have grown to distrust our government. I’ll wait for omicron to hit and if I feel symptoms I’ll get a RAT and take it from there.

Banks have the right idea with signing in.
Write ones details on a small slip of paper, then hand over to the teller. They place it in the box behind the counter. Away from prying eyes and no-one can see any-ones details. If that is not not simplicity, not sure what is? I stopped signing in elsewhere ages ago. Any tom, dick or harry could be looking at peoples info on the big pages.

According to the find a rat website, 4 locations in WA have stock currently. 3 metro and one country location.

Just a small aside, went to the Darch pub for dinner. Masks required and proof of vaccination. Not a problem and no arcing up but then the we were probably the youngest there, ok not quite but nearly.

being double vaccinated and almost due for the booster , I'll probably only go for testing if I somehow develop symptoms or be directed to do so - and that definitely comes out of what is happening over east 
I'd like to get my hands on these R A T 's to help out when they become readily available too
Also I have absolutely no problem with sign in's and do it everywhere and again this is to help out - masking up the same it's an easy thing to do

Spot on Southerner, the Bride and I are due for the booster on the 15th, we sign in and while not masking up here in York we do so when down in the metro area.

I will take a rat before I visit my mum and before I go to the footy, and anywhere else I go where there are large crowds
