A third shot?  I thought that was what the booster was all about.

Booster or third shot means the same thing.

I think it will become an annual thing like the flu shots people get each year

Anyone can see I'm not the brightest light in the room. Just wondering why the horse races are allowed to proceed with the Perth Cup day being held. And yet other events have simply been prohibited?  Apparently 4,000 to 5,000 people are expected trackside because of crowd caps in place. That being far less than the usual I'm told. Attendees need to follow rules and restrictions before being allowed entry from what I heard.
Why is it a music event (or some similar activity) with the same restrictions and maybe a further reduced crowd cap is refused permission? Surely not a cost issue? I would have thought the monetary outlay of the racing association would be quite high to conduct the event? I would have thought conducting a music event or something similar would require less of a financial outlay whilst the profits would be similar.
Just seems weird one event is allowed to proceed and others are frowned upon.
Or am I missing something?

What made me laugh today hearing on the radio that at the races you have to be sitting down to order food or beverage. Are you fking kidding me? Where at the races perhaps with exception of some posh members area or marquee would you be sitting down being waited on or able to sit at a table after ordering a beer , hamburger or chips? You can’t make this shit up. You would have to be bloody dedicated to be bothered to go to the races today.

Agree DD, even someone like me that has been a bit of an apologist for McG in the past, cannot not put any rhyme nor reason to this baffling decision on the races.

As for The George pub in town, you deserve all the penalty you get.  Locking doors and windows blocked out?  Someone needs to answer for this one!!!  Everyone may not agree with the rules, but rules is rules.

I am probably wrong but I suspect that the GG's and pacers where seen as a test for the vaccine pass with what was a quite limited crowd, the internal arrangements also test how venues could work, not an excuse but perhaps a plausible explanation.

So one month out from WA supposedly opening up the borders and the Premier is off on holidays in Exmouth, caught on photo without a mask on so should face charges. And our new health minister who has been in the job 5 minutes is also on holidays, must believe she's absolutely nailed the portfolio after the clusterfuck she took over from Cooked.

Cast your minds back to when Scomo was on hols in Hawaii and the fires broke out on the east coast, he was roundly vilified for not immediately returning. McClown has pharked off in the middle of a pandemic just prior to the inevitable influx of Omicron when the borders come down, he should face the same vilification that Scomo faced, but he will be well protected by his mates at 7 West media and his comrades at the ABC.

Then again, maybe this is a hint that he has no intention of opening up on Feb 5th????

Mate I am afraid the Press and a big portion of the public have pretty much decided that whatever goes wrong now is sco mos fault.

His latest polling is woeful and for the first time Albo is in reach of being preffered.PM.
