Surely our government has the power to veto this?  These pricks have been flying beneath the radar.

I wouldn't say it was a secret 58s. The current state govt and previous ones have been in full knowledge for many years. Not sure if the Barnett govt or the one before got the initial ball rolling on the facility. There being widespread news years ago of a sealed highway being built that abruptly stopped in the middle of nowhere. At the time, building a road to nowhere sounded very odd. Everyone now knows different! What saddens me immeasurably is no- one is bothered by this story. 

Everyone in Kal knows about this and are generally in favour of it. I have heard the Mayor of Kal talk about it and how it is possibly a huge expanding business int he future, they have also openly stated they would be happy to be the location of a Nuclear Power Station.
