I’ll preface this by saying I am and will always be an Eagles supporter, although they fall behind the Sharks in preference.
After reading some of the stuff about how the Eagles will take over on the PFC site, I was thinking about how the AFL have negatively influenced the WAFL.  Right from the start we had the Subi oval seats deal. That has set up an almost unbeatable team that has won heaps of flags off the deal and not off their own backs.  Subi supporters will argue this, but it’s fact. Then there was the East Perth farce of 3 flags in a row  on the back of an Eagles alignment. Again EP supporters will argue this, but it’s fact.  But wait, there’s more, 2 absolute totally Dorker contrived flags for a team that should never had been allowed into our local league.  No one, but no one can argue they earned them.  Then both AFL teams use our state League as a practice session for their games. The Dorks will now be looking around at which next carcass they can strip, while the Eagles have found theirs.  Both clubs are multi, multi millionaires and could contribute so much more.  The time will come when they say oh fuck!!!

This is not really about AFL influence on the WAFL. Rather it is seems to be about how the 2 Perth based VFL teams (1 of which you support) conduct themselves. I don't know why the WAFL feels obliged to play their (West Coast and the Dockers) non selected players.

The VFL is a large bloated Pig that demands an even bigger trough to gorge itself on - the way it lays waste to lower competitions is just thuggery at best
Sadly I think eventually there'll be no other leagues left alive just feeder colts and a VFL reserves comp

The problems for the WAFL are broader than that Ti Em and they started many many years ago.
