What do you reckon? Do we have any chance of upsetting these guys? They seem almost invincible having now won 16 games in a row and even when they play below par they still manage to be able to pull out enough to win. They have had a lot of injuries but even this doesn't seem to have disrupted their style of play. They will win the flag unless a meteorite hits the earth between now and September.

So a daunting task awaits at Leederville Oval for our guys on Saturday. Not sure if Harding has a plan, He might have had one last time at Bassendean when Swans went into the game on a wave of confidence having won 5 of their first 6 games but were whipped by 64 points which would have been 100 if the Subi boys had kicked straight. This sent our season into a temporary tailspin with only 1 win from the next 5. To the Swans team credit though, they have recovered from the mid season slump with 4 wins from the last 5 ,culminating in what was I thought our best win of the season last week.

Also Subiaco have set such high standards this year that their coach will not accept "a loss they have to have" prior to the finals so no chance of a below par performance from them either.

One thing is for sure, the Swans guys will have to be at their absolute best to even be competitive

I think Swans can only beat Subiaco once in season 2017.

Maybe as part of Harding's plan to cause what would be the upset of the millennium this week against Subi he should get the boys to watch the movie Predator........

They're going to cover themselves in mud so the Subi boys can't see them?

Horrible ground Leederville in the wet.The centre square will be muddy and that Cockey will push his body in the packs.Could be a bruising afternoon for the Swans midfielders.Without MR big body. But Swans played well in the wet last week and conditions will suit R Crowley. Who's in good form.

Great to see Jared Blight back, he will be very valuable against the strong bodies of the opposition. Tallen Ames also named so this is probably the best team we can put on the park at the moment.apart from Ellard whose hamstring injury has kept him out again.

Bit evened up seeing Horsley out - could just be the game of the round , ruffle a few feathers by sticking Ames up forward as named ;)

You will win this, its all falling into place for Swans, Horsley out is a massive advantage and $subi are at their weakest for 2017. Its there for the taking Swannies.

Yes Horsley is a crucial player Leedy, but I don't think his loss will be a game breaker. Subiaco have shown time and again this season that they are able to do without key players for periods of time. They bring in another player from their reserves who is able to play a role in their team structure without disrupting their standard of play too much. The results are clear to see when you look at the ladder.
They seem to have a "team first" philosophy which has seen them win games without their best players. I think Swans can compete with them for parts of the game tomorrow but my feeling is that they will wear us down eventually. I am obviously hoping I am mistaken.........
