I note Tom Omodei has just won the Prendergast medal. He is another one that has some currency. Gets big numbers kicks the ball long and is a good mover. Next step for him is to improve his impact on the contest and make his disposals count. I would recommend him for Swans.

I'm not bothered at all, you posed the question as always I try to answer as honestly as I can. Payne was carried at the start of the year as a former fairest and best deserves to try to find form. My understanding is Freddie would miss the first half of the year due to injury? The fact he played early was a surprise to some.

You can recruit him like Clutterbuck, Slater, Wityk, Ipsen, Kalimeras and chuck him in the reserves with rest of them. What's your excuse we have the Eagles you just don't rate them. I believe young Ridley is keen to come to EP can we work a deal.

Yes BH good call Fraser is a ripper, possible but he is a league regular and is well compensated at EP. For Swans to climb quickly these are the types you need.

He picked him 10 times this year so sounds like the Eagles should be paying you not Jaymie Graham.
As for Clutterbuck, wasn't helped but not being allowed to play the pre season games due to east Perth being petty, Harding shouldn't have played him till he was match fit.
Hace no interest in debating local talent with an Eagles reserves supporter, you don't have a league team to support so not really sure why you are bothered who stays and goes from from the club that wears blue and black.

You won't much argument from me abt the alignment but you must admit that given our reserves and colts are into the GF that part of the club must be doing something right.

AS for Freddie, if he can get fit and stay fit he will be a good get for you, lots of players take a while and even season to impact when changing clubs.

As for players moving I would never be surprised at players wanting to go for a better chance but if the Worst is right abt limits being placed on Peel and EP and the number of AFL listed players being allowed to play we could see a whole change to the alignment processes (I suspect that at least one would want to perhaps field there own team) [oh just an opinion and a birthday wish]

Grump I think you'll get your wish, I think it's inevitable that once this current arrangement has finished at the end of '17, WC will drop EP and establish their own reserves team based out of the new Lathlain facility, it will be part of the negotiations around restrictions to numbers of listed players in an aligned team and finals qualification rules. Just my thoughts.

I see Jack Richardson kicked 5 goals in the Reserves GF yesterday for Claremont & won the Merv McIntosh Medal for BOG. Has been around for a few years and cant seem to crack a regular gig in a strong Claremont forward line I wonder if he would be interested in a move down Guildford Rd to his old man's old club where he was a Premiership player?
