Mad Dog wrote: The re-appointment is a good one! This is without doubt the toughest time we've had on field in quite a few years but there are many contributing factors ie huge injury list, draftees and mature age ones at that, minimal recruiting etc etc. However there are still plenty of positives around the club with the colts and reserves performing well despite players going up to play league footy and theres sure to be at least a couple more kids drafted at seasons end.

Another tick was the willingness of Crowley and Ellard to return next year with Harding at the helm.

So while it's tough to watch at the moment,I don't think its all doom and gloom.

Are Crowley & Ellard confirmed MD???

I'd be very surprised if they both weren't at the club next year!

Boy$ it may be be$t to keep our potential recruit$ private away from certain prying eye$ if you catch my drift! ;)

I'm sure Crowley would love to come back to his old team and have a chance at playing in another premiership.

I'd let other clubs have Crowley 'Beas - the very good young blokes coming through at Basso are a better long term deal than what a season out of an AFL cut off will provide

Serious stuff up there BH...Mad Dog would use a tagger for sure although I'm not sure if there is a need for an assistant coach....assume he would have asked me already if this was the case :P

I tend to agree mate but others have assured me he has a pretty important role to play.
