Scary to think really :pinch:
The community services must thank feck for the SDFC keeping those less fortunate opposition supporters entertained for 82 years now!

....any true debate/discussion needs a balanced view mate....aren't you forever telling off ( or is it bullying?) Bazza for not getting the facts right?.....more than happy for DW to sin bin me mate....... ;)

Rack off Outer, you blokes have bugger all to say until your coach is left with the same injury list as Swans, then lets see how he goes. No other club has all sorts of money to spend on what they need to replenish at each seasons end than $ubi has. Waters, Webb and Schofield would be no better than Harding with a similar list.

That's great news for the 8 other clubs

Crikey, that's straight out of the Perth football department manual. Though I believe they tossed it in the incinerator after they sacked the last bloke. Smells similar, like they know he's going to be under pressure from the faithful so they've gone early to avoid a decision at the end of what looks like a very dark season.

Coming off kicking just 3.5 for a match that is quite an incredible decision.

DD I am not sure it is quite in the same boat as McMahon's case as we have more than half a side out with injury or other reasons at the moment, and have been playing over the last month about half a side full of guys with 10 or less games experience at the start of the season. I am sure Harding would have loved to have had a side which contained the likes of ex AFLers Davis, Reimers, Morton x 3, Bevan, Bateman, Young, McDougall, Kayler-Thompson, Smith, Moody et al at his disposal!

No argument with you on the point of personal at the duds disposal BH but my point was in reference to being related to a board member carrying a lot of weight. I heard that our previous coach has close family ties with our prez. That's not exactly putting the clubs best interests first is it?

The timing just seems strange and perhaps a desperate move.

Leedy...pretty sure the Subi boys know the likes of Webb, Schofield and German were gifted riches to win flags, same as Harding has been gifted with SD fantastic colts/reserves set up and development program during his current 6 yr tenure...really can't believe SD can't find decent replacements from within their GF appearing reserves and colts side from last year....or are they all injured too?

as for the sin bin DW.....feels like I am already there mate and have been the last few years living in NZ.....pretty sure any punishment you dish out couldn't be any worse then living in NZ mate :pinch:

The re-appointment is a good one! This is without doubt the toughest time we've had on field in quite a few years but there are many contributing factors ie huge injury list, draftees and mature age ones at that, minimal recruiting etc etc. However there are still plenty of positives around the club with the colts and reserves performing well despite players going up to play league footy and theres sure to be at least a couple more kids drafted at seasons end.

Another tick was the willingness of Crowley and Ellard to return next year with Harding at the helm.

So while it's tough to watch at the moment,I don't think its all doom and gloom.

I'd be very surprised if they both weren't at the club next year!
