Someone just informed me that they heard the Bassendean Oval fence is coming down? I doubt this personally as they are heritage listed from what I believe and would be a travesty!!

It would be disappointing if so and not replaced like for like but in my opinion several sections are not safe so something needs to be done.

Can you be specific what area is dangerous MD ?? I sit around it every game and cant say I have noticed ANY part of it that is so called unsafe ?

I've seen a few areas where the wood is rotting but nothing a little patch up work wouldn't solve

If its a matter of putting a lick of paint here and there and replacing a few geez that shouldn't be too hard
