If it is a bonafide ex gratia payment there is a possibility it is non taxable. The Swannies are on a first name basis with the ATO anyway so they can check with their friends there.

Swan Districts had ongoing problems with the ATO, this is public knowledge. What is totally unproven and slanderous is Swans supporters continuous accusations of salary cap breaches directed at Subiaco.
