Anybody heard any news on potential targets next year?
Will David Ellard come home? Mason Shaw delisted from Port/South Freo would be perfect and Max Duffy from freo/EF would be a good pick up also.
I know its early but I think we need a key forward with Geappen retiring and Cary probably playing down back more with Notte.
I hope Dylan Nelson has a big pre season as I think he could be handy up forward in the league team.
Ruck stocks seem ok with Doc, Nuich and young Yukich coming through.
Our midfield should be unchanged and even stronger with many young players getting game time in the seniors last season.
I cant see us losing anyone in the draft unless Nathan Broad, Alex Howard, Jarrad Blight or Rudy Riddoch are rookie listed.

Looks like David Ellard will stay in Melbourne for another 2 years for employment, and then head back to WA after that.

Broad a good chance to get picked up, not sure on any others apart from the kids who went to the draft camp - Smith, Glass-McCasker and Hackett..

some good prospects out of the reserves GF - Ansey, Nuich, Wilson, Fletcher, Dean, Kirkup, Grescos, Turner all have lots of talent to be regular wafl players with a good pre-season.
Nelson is too lazy
hopefully Rudy also has a good pre-season.

I would think we will be going into 2016 with pretty much the same list minus Swoop and perhaps Broad. Maybe attract a couple of players who have run their race at other WAFL clubs similar to what Joel Houghton did this year although we had to swap Latch for him. I wouldn't think that Swans financial position would have improved enough to recruit any big name players. Duffy I would imagine would go back to East Fremantle if he wasn't picked up by anyone else in the draft

So along with Crowley and Shannon Taylor don't be surprised to see Graham Jetta dashing off half back in 2016. Bit of negotiating still to go but Jetts is as fit as a fiddle as he's training for half marathons. His upper body strength is better than ever too.

I'd hate to get tangled up in a pie eating comp between Rudy and G Jetta

That would be awesome if true mate re Jetta , he is a state defender and a driving force behind our top 4 era in the recent past

What chance Aiden Andersen or Travis Casserley pulling on the boots for the Ducks 2016, does anyone know.

Can't enlighten you on Anderson, Patch but I'm pretty sure Casserley retired due to persistent injury issues.

Cass said virtually the same thing to me late in the season mikeh....said body was no longer up for it.

Comments re Aido were cut short early in 2014 on this forum by the mods with his best interests at heart. Maybe they can update us on his football future and if we can ever expect to see him running around at Basso again.
