Describing this game a massive would be an understatement! This is a genuine 8 point game where a win will put us a game clear plus % of South and 2 games clear of either the Sharks or Tiges. The win last week was the 1st time we'd strung 2 wins together this season and we have a great opportunity to make it 3. The best thing about last weeks win was that our best qtr was our last so hopefully we can carry that into tomorrow!
Daniels,Wilson,Riddoch and Whitsed named as in but also named in the Reserves but one will definitely play as Elari is the only out at the moment which is huge! Anyone know the injury?
Surely Coniglio is struggling to hold his spot??
I'd suggest that Wilson and Riddoch will play.
A little surprising that Nelson didn't make the bench but definitely still has things to work on imo.

Just a little gripe. It shits me that the team can't be finalised on Thursday,with emergencies so we know exactly who's in and out!

Yeah Elari is a massive loss to the midfield and we really struggled when he was out for a few weeks earlier in the season. I would say that Daniels would come in to the team in his place. Interesting that the whole interchange bench apart from Houghton have also been named in the reserves so we probably wont be able to confirm the team until the start of the game. Both teams will be desperate for the 4 points so I am anticipating a close battle. I'm hoping Swans can win a TV game for the first time this year!

The whole round of fixtures is huge. Perth need to win but looks unlikely with the outs as reported. East Fremantle and Claremont will be a huge game. The Tigers could push into the top 5 with a big enough win. East Fremantle would be looking to arrest the form slump and move up the league ladder themselves. The match over at the Arena will be interesting, and maybe too close to call? Then South and Swan Districts should be another close tussle. Although Swans seem to play better at home, they should prevail for their third win in a row.

Tough one to loose but what a game to watch! I thought both teams played hard and put in the effort.

Tough game of footy & typically the Swansmen deserve great credit as it could have gone either way in the end

I expected nothing else than for us to scrap like bastards to get a win and we had to that & lots more

The 3rd qtr cost us when we were absolutely shocking and our weaknesses in pace and midfield depth were exposed. Noted,we had a few things go against us and a few guys banged up but there is no way we should've lost that game! The effort in the end to get within 2 points was good but we didn't win so I'm not happy!

Looking foward to seeing the back of Coniglio,Banfield needs a rest or to lift his game and a couple of others just aren't ready! But that's where we are at I guess. Looking foward to seeing Riddoch and Wilson come back in next week! Kirkup played well in the ressies. I noticed Nelson didn't play Ressies today,first thought was that he said eff you when not getting picked? He and Riddoch should definitely have been playing today along with Wilson!

The season has been on the line for a few weeks now. A loss to the Eagles reserves will put an end to our finals hopes I'd say with a tough run home so that game is the biggest of the season without a doubt!

See I reckon it's a good time to get 'em - cold after a bye mate , and I also believe harassing them all day long & making Howson's lot eat grass and keeping them on the deck as much as possible will go a long long way to getting those 4 points

I would be a little worried being a SD supporter that of the 6 wins you have had, 3 were v Perth, 1 v EF and 2 x really good wins v Peel and Souths, the run home is a tough one and if you can negotiate most of those, you will be dead set primed for the Finals.
