Not sure Blakely,Cary,Nuich and Houghton can all play in the same team. If Houghton is fit might be an idea to give Nuich a rest.
Good to see Jukes get 3 on the weekend.
My mail is Banfield will definitely play this week, most likely ressies.

Banners was the runner in the Ressies on Sunday so he cant be too far away.
MD I love Faulky's attack on the footy and no doubt he would be picked ahead of Dave McKay on ability but he has really had the yips with his kicking this year hopefully he has worked hard on it over this lay off.
Jukes looked good early as did Cary but the ball wasnt being delivered with a hell of a lot of precision after quarter time, Dean, Turner, Burnham, Coniglio went ok, Ansey may get a look in if Ames is ruled out with injury.
Houghton apparently injured at training last week forced us to bring Doc straight in as Seaby is the difference for C.

Especially Cary with Houghton out! I don't care if 22 blokes got the job done the week before, you make the hard call and play em. The thinking that they played ressies because they were coming back from suspension and injury makes no sense as Elari and Blakely came straight in off longer layoffs.
They'll be in this week(as long as Cary gets off) but it's a 6 day break for them against the best team in the comp.
a few more changes expected also.

MD whilst no-one can doubt the commitment and work rate of Faulkner what do you think of his disposal by hand and foot? With respect to Blakely one would presume that because of the nature of Blakely's injury he would have been able to maintain his fitness levels albeit not necessarily match fit.

Whilst it is disappointing that we have had some quarters which have not been great I think we will bounce back on Saturday. Of course it won't be easy against Subiaco, but we shall see the boys bounce back.

Give me Faulkner ahead of McKay any day!

How bad is our injury list MD for McKay to be getting a game. Might as well pull the boots back on meeself, you too!!!

I've been tough in my opinions of him. I'm sure he's a good bloke,is important to the club because he's the ressies captain which speaks volumes of him and has been a loyal servant but he's just not the answer. His size doesn't help him either

Didn't see the game Swandog as been away. Did he get a kick? Maybe as a tagger he can force his way in to our best 22 but otherwise I just don't see a role for him. As MD says size hurts and I don't recall him having the necessary speed or a penetrating kick for a small bloke to have much of an impact at senior level. Happy for him to go out there and prove me wrong and hope he does just to stick it up me.
