For the record, and contrary to what the President of the erstwhile Peel Thunder Football Club, Rudy Riddoch spent a couple of years in the Peel zone when he was around 14-15 years of age. It is patently nonsensical and disingenuous to suggest that he was a product of the Peel region in an attempt to try to rationalise the fact that 1 local player played for Peel in the league match.

You only have to have driven down the Forrest Hwy once in the last 10 years to be considered a "Peel product" in Ditchburns eyes 42!!

Yes, big business will say and do whatever they like.

I know for a FACT that those close to Rudy were not impressed in the slightest with the "Peel"'s President's claim.

Not knowing the player personally but having seen him play, he is VG but if he had any history in the peel region albeit very small he would have left anyway just like most of their colts do and ressies have! Mundijiong, Baldivis and other ar certinly stronger for the dorkers involement in the peel.

Ditchburn can say what he likes and will to create a peel persona but he cannot hide the truth that without the dorkers they would still be embarassing.

Trouble is that if the hype is to be believed and I haven't seen him often enough to comment but if true he may not be at the mighty swans for long.
