Less than a month from our round 1 clash against the Demons, thought I'd have a crack and am interested in others thoughts.

Simpson Ames Ugle

Howard Notte Casserly

Elari Riggio Broad

Anderson Geapen Rogers

Houghton Cary Davis

Blakely Ridley
Faulkner Jukes
Blight Burnham
Maguire

Grescos,Nuich,Kalimeris,Wityk,Manton,Nelson,Smirk all with a shot and I'm probably missing a few.

Was interesting to see Nelson Anstey play full back in the intra club. Is a fair way off a league spot in my opinion.

Note that Robin$on has gone to $ubi and Jetta has retired.

Blakely is injured, out for a while, busted finger.
for what it's worth at the agm Harding said Ridley, Dylan Smith and Warwick Wilson from the colts will be close to round 1 selection, the first 2 are still colts players.
Not sure the status of Yukich's fitness but if injured then Wells or Shand might ruck.
Jetts a massive loss, such a reliable player and if he has retired then he can be proud of his career.
Robbo has stuffed the club around the last 2 years, move him on and get the fee

Is Dylan Harvey still at the club as he could fill Doc's spot until he is fit.

From memory I think Harvey played the intra club. Yukich definitely did but not sure he's at the required level both in fitness and skill at this stage to be a league option.
Levi Ridley has big wraps on him and I reckon he's a lock for round 1.

Looks like a pretty handy side Mad Dog, although there will inevitably be injuries so many of last years colts players will get an opportunity.

As for Brett Robinson, he is from a different era where Swans had a recruiting philosophy (i.e. when they could afford it) Now the emphasis is on young players because there is no other option and 2014 demonstrated that this can make for exciting footy because every player on the ground is committed to the club.

I salute people like Ryan Davis and Swoop who are loyal to the club and have obviously resisted overtures to go elsewhere. Brett was an excellent player for the club for 5 years but his priority seems to be the coin and lets face it he has gone to the right place for that.

mikeh, perhaps Robinson wants to win another flag before he retires?.....got more chance with Subi than SD in the short term at least don't you think?.....yeah and the better salary, but wouldn't he get more coin playing in the country?

when Subi are involved who knows. Davis is well paid at Swans and Subi offered $300 more per game.
Get the clearance fee and invest it in the kids
