Jetta will be a big loss for Swans as he seemed to be the best small rebounder out of defence.Looks like he will be joining up with Dayle Garlett at Carey Park.Ithought Garlett was in the clink or on the way to the clink.

Thats disappointing as he has a lot of talent but as has been demonstrated with other players, the desire and hard work have to be there as well. I hope Aiden can get back into the WAFL system at some stage, whether it be at Swans or another club.

One can only think that Aido himself doesn't believe he is capable of progressing to AFL level after the disappointment of not being drafted and has removed himself from the equation. One thing for sure is he certainly won't be getting drafted from Swan Athletic (no offence intended to SA).

Hope Aido has good future employment prospects as the hard work required to earn a comfortable living off the field is relentless and nowhere near as much fun as playing footy. In my eyes definitely had a real chance of being drafted, good skills, footy smarts & speed. Guess he didnt see it that way or has lost interest. Only had to develop an engine through improving his work ethic this year which is normal for anyone at his age and had a genuine shot and realistic prospects of a career in the AFL so is disappointing to hear. Surely not the first to fall when the hard work hurdle initially presents itself and will not be the last. Fell at that hurdle myself and hope he doesn't have to live with the same tinge of regret I feel all these years later for not having enough belief in myself back then despite enjoying 20 odd years of ammo footy.

Good luck Aido, hope you enjoy your ammo career, sorry to see u go as enjoyed watching you play last season.

Great reply Dirty Weekender.
Maybe you and others in your situation need to find a way to get into this young mans ear, before he is lost too footy all together. So many guys out there with story who get lost in life and find their way once it is too late. If he continues down this path he will have a lot of regrets.
I hope he wakes up before it's too late.
