I know there are those that commit to the doctrine we are a product or our enviroment, socially / racially / politically etc, but I still stand by and firmly believe we must stop this deflection of personal responsability and placing of blame for our own choices and directions on others - or anyone!!

Every individual has a choice and who said things would be or had to be easy? Life is not meant to be handed to you and handouts only make a person, a culture, a society, a nation 'WEEK'.
We all face our own demons, our own failures, our own chaos ... but its how you get up that counts - how you move forward that says who you are...

A little bit of social responsibity does not hurt anyone. Some do more than others to try and pick up the slack and I congratulate them for it.

I only do a little bit, happy to hire people who need a 2nd or 3rd chance in life. Shane Yarran has had his problems and I am damn proud my team offered him that 2nd chance other teams weren't interested in giving him. Hopefully Shane can grab his chance, turn his back on his past and have a successful life.

If you are happy your team decided to walk away from someone you cheered for just months before then bully for you. The fact you defend your team at all costs, forget about a product of your club and call anyone criitical of that decision "a pest", well that says a lot about you.

I appreciate your moralistic views on the situation but instead of lecturing me why dont you contact the club and offer to help or give your opinion to them, not sure what you think you will achieve by giving me a lecture apart from just being a pest ?

I'm with you Barney Swans are quick to use these boys up and discard them. Their club is built around indigenous talent thanks to their zone demographics. I believe in second chances but certain crimes in my opinion are one strike your out jobs.
