you can throw in Picketts 2 Sandovers and a brace of premierships as well 27...and no, I wouldn't rate him as a WAFL champion just like I wouldn't rate Roberts either. based in yours and SD definition of a WAFL champion, Ivan Glucina would be a walk up start for Hall of Fame status and Randall Prowse is due to get a statue out the front of Subi Oval.

Freeze as good a player as Pickett was how many club Fairest & Bests do you think he won? Thats usually the best way to work out how good a player is rated at their club in any year ...and please dont drag Sandovers into this debate because they are voted on by 3 deadset clowns who would struggle to tie their own shoe laces up every morning!

Two very different players, Pickett was just all class, full of talent and just magic around packs and infront of goals. Roberts was tough as nails, fearless, a real work horse and a great on field leader. Lets not disrespect either by arguing over who was better.

Although we could settle this with a premierships won count.

Thats absolute rubbish BH...a player can be a standout in an average club and win F&B's hand over fist but not be a leading player in the comp or poll big time in Sandovers. I take it you don't rate the Sandover won by the Krak? Let's go back to SD's original that Roberts is quote "...a great WAFL champion..." unquote his comment wasn't based around Roberts' worth at the club...i.e he didnt say Roberts was a Swans champion..he said WAFL champion which clearly he is not.
