Crikey what have I done wrong this time? You guys are NO FUN!

Don't tell me it is because I am using more than one log in as I only have one because you party poopers banned all my other ones. Besides, you'd hate to admit it, but things are so much more fun when I am here and look how popular any forum becomes when my fans get wind that I'm in the house !!! ;)

Oh well sanity has prevailed and the Weagles have failed in their bid for Newman to be shifted to the Roygals

Newman has done so well under the Eagles watch so far - unfit and on an assault charge..dont think they see the irony in all of this..

no doubt Garlett is also training the house down under SD watchfull eye too MO...irony personified!! ;) .....heard Harding is more than pleased with the kids attitude so far......or did I read that wrong??

thou I have to admit an on song combo of Garlett and Newman should do a lot of damage in the WAFL....can see the SD v EF game first up as been a shoot out between the small forwards.....though not too sure how EF is gonna accommadate the likes of BOB, Dick, Duffy, Cooyou, Waight and Simpson in it's forward line at one time.....

Haha yeh and to think they reckoned he would be better served under their watchful eye! Its the other way around, anyway i hope he has a resonable year but not quite enough to get a WCE game so he stays at Swans

Garlett is not an employee of SD, its up to him whether he chooses to train or not train..no WAFL club has the resources to manage 60 odd blokes..

oh I see MO, so what you are saying is that, SD will help Newman because they aren't paying him and he isn't their responsibility if things go tits up, it will be WCE fault..... but Garlett isn't SDFC responsability, even though they are paying him and would of readily accepted a draft fee for the kid at the end of last year.....once again that word of accountability comes back to haunt SDFC.

Whilst I agree SD can't force the kid to train & get his attitude right, you would hope the player development person down at SDFC would have bit more of a pro active approach than your goodself.....

SD have a player development person who is responsible for every kid at Swans from 14 upwards, he is not Dayle garlett's personal development officer, its not the AFL..

Garlett is the same as every other senior player at Swans - he knows what time the league squad trains, i'm not sure its the coach or footy managers responsibility to ring up every player to ask whether they are coming to training or not..

AFL players dont train with WAFL clubs, they turn up on Saturday to play - are you aware of that ?

Mark, it is my understanding that players who are going to play for wafl team training with that team on a Thursday or a the last regular session before a game, this was what usually happened at EP last year, just my understanding .....
