Thinking the same, obviously not privy to seeing SD play, but on paper that SD looks to have a better balance with Blakely back in and of course George back....season on I reckon if Subi go 0/2 here....

Love your optimism guys and I sincerely hope you are correct but my memory is burned with numerous thrashings by this mob over the last 10 years or more and a lot better Swans teams than this one have been mercilessly flogged by Subiaco. They may not be as good as they were last year but don't forget that they have been so far in front of everybody else since 2014, there is a massive gap for others to make up.
Claremont showed a couple of weeks ago that Subiaco are not unbeatable but I fear that Swans may be the ones to pay for this aberration.

Subi still have the best 2 players in the comp - Horsley and Delahunty and Kitchen, Sokol and Litherland would be close to top 10, those 5 alone are ahead of any Swans blokes.
Swans biggest problem is playing 4 quarters

good luck tomorrow/today. In the media, it has been said that the game will be streammed. Is this by SD on facebook or is being done on the WAFL site?

What a fantastic way to celebrate the 1990 premiership, make the League game at 12:40 when they are sitting down for lunch and then when they are done they can watch the women play in the men’s time slot, can’t wait. Oh, and then we can all come back at 2pm tomorrow to watch the colts.

That has since changed with the change of the AFL fixtures.

It wouldn’t have been hard then for the WAFL and Swans to adjust also.

Swans v Subi and the same old same old.Subi by plenty.Swans where slaughtered in the key positions down the spine. And when the ball went through there we gave away holding the man frees.
Swans tried the use the width of the field with run and spread.Switching play across the center of the ground. But Subi congested the flank areas and stop swans movement. They did look good when they could get into the open fwd line with George Hampson looking good up there.
The shortened qtrs probably saved swans from a hiding today.ConnorB looks like he's got a lower back injury Tony N also looks like he's injured Down on big men and mids that can run with the footy..Long season in this short season..
Just an observation on Subi.Only there second game in August.Did cough up the footy a few times. And heard some of there players sledging each other. On the outer bank.Played well but the players on field must think they can play better than they did today.

So we had more kicks, more handballs, more frees for and twice as many hit outs and we are smashed on the scoreboard. Averaged over 50 disposals per goal - 30+ disposals per scoring shot where Subi were 11. Wasn’t there at the game to watch but those kind of numbers indicate we play yellow footy to me.

We tried our best, couldn’t fault the effort but the overuse of handball and the kicking was deplorable.
Reidy twice couldn’t hit a 30 metre kick to a bloke standing 20 metres on his own inside 50 and the kicking to Noble and Kohlman gives them no chance.
Subi efficiency the difference.
Erceg best game seen him play, Clarke good also and Anderson top game again.
Don’t get carried away with the frees, old 2 rules Subi at its best today, only one team got holding the man frees inside 50 and a 50 metre penalty for a centimetre over the mark.
Also the rule were Delahunty not allowed to be penalised at any stage in force.
