Can you tell us Subi fellas about Sturts Tristan Gum that we have recruited.

The following is from Big Phil, co-host of 'The Thursday Night Footy Show' on Adelaide's 5RPH;

Gum is a very good footballer. Left footer with very good skills and reads the game very well. Played in the State Game for SA a few years ago over in WA. Knows where the goals are and can win his own footy as well. Didn't play a lot for Sturt in 2012 due to injury (shin splints and OP from memory) but I would have him in Central's best 21 if he wanted to come to the Dogs.

Ben, lets hope he has a strong in and under aspect to his game as not too many of our midfield blokes besides Brissy have that. Oh for the return of one Adam Cockie.

Nah haven't heard when the pre-season matches start but hoping if we have 4 games, it's on March 16.

I reckon he wouldnt play at the dogs as he wouldnt want to be associated with those Gowan thugs...? (just stirring mate)

I'll tell you what we have been telling opposition supporters since 2000...you'd love 'em in your team.

There's a fair chance they would've tested his jaw in their day though. Sadly, they retired at the end of season 2012 (13 seasons = 9 premierships...each!).
