There you go, BH lose a few players and lose the game....also, as good a player as he is, Neser was never going to repeat that bash n crash innings he played in the last game. Though not sure Hobson will repeat his innings from yesterday again anytime soon. Though Hobson and Connolly have a good knack of batting well together.

The Scorchers really have confidence in their depth, though not sure Eskinasi will be returning for next season...average at best TBH. Bring on the finals, as we know what the PS can do in the pointy end of the comp.

Interesting game. The Scorcher's total looked poor, but an old adage in cricket of waiting to see the state of the pitch until both teams have batted came through yesterday when the Heat also struggled on a very slow wicket combined with accurate blowing.

The Heat and the Scorchers will have their depth tested during the finals with both teams losing key players. In contrast Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers are looking strong with their local players in form. The game between the Sixers and the Scorchers will be crucial tomorrow with the winner facing Heat on the Gold Coast which is virtually a neutral venue, the loser will have to play a red hot Strikers outfit in an elimination final.
The Scorchers will miss Evans, who has been their best batsman this season, not sure if Marcus Harris will be able to have the same impact.

I can't believe they signed Harris definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The great rivalry between the Sixers and Scorchers continued tonight with a heart stopping finish at Optus Stadium. It was a very good chase by the Sydney team and they now have the double chance while the Scorchers have to play an elimination final against Adelaide.

The Strikers will really fancy their chances, they are on a winning streak while Perth have lost 3 out of their last 5 and appear to be losing momentum. Also with the loss of Evans, Crawley and Richardson they are considerably weakened whereas Adelaide have players in form, particularly Matt Short.

The Scorchers bowling has been conceding too many runs recently and to leak 200 runs tonight is their most expensive effort for many years. Berendorff is always consistent but Morris Tye and Agar will have to lift their rating if the Scorchers are to have any hope of a turn around

Evans will be missed for sure....time to promote Inglis to the openers spot for a faster start in the first 6 overs. It's a pity Turner is injured, someone said Harris has been signed by PS?

A lot of pressure on Hardie and Inglis to step up and produce a score....leave Connolly and Hobson where they are. Big ask now for PS to win their next 3 to secure another title. If they do it, it will definitely top last years win....some serious thought needs to go into recruiting next year....need quality for sure, but quality with some season longevity....

Adelaide Strikers are the form team of the competition. But have some holes to fill in the upcoming Optus final.
Adam Hose,Chris Lynn and Jamie Overton. Like Evans at the Scorchers. Overton like Walters [tall paul] at the Heat.Has been a star recruits of this BBL season

Yeah bit of a problem for the BBL these overlapping tournaments in other parts of the world. Thats why the Sixers are favourites in my eyes because their key players are still around for the finals
