Tis pretty hard to believe, but If he has applied, he could see it as the last roll of the dice. If he could get the Sharks in the finals next year, even 5th place, how good would this look on his resume? Fanciful thought yes, but stranger things happen.

Great chance for him to get back into the system and impress, only way is up and a gig like the one at Subiaco after Schofield would be a hard act to follow. Could actually be a huge opportunity for him if he could be a part of turning things around.

I see ex Cl coach Simon McPhee has lost his job at St Kilda....another one in the mix perhaps.....tho Subi would be more to his liking after a tough time recently at St Kilda.....

Steve Marsh, John Todd and Tony Micale all started at South and came across and coached East Fremantle to premierships at some stage, if Sumich can do the same then I'll more than gladly take it.

Monaghan to coach EF, he lives that way and his Son plays there. WP can't offer a contract until all this shit has subsided, if it does.

That would be sad to see Bill go, I would not blame him, great coach and very approachable, like you said they cannot sign him and he lives out there so you would think it is a no brainer..

Didn't he signal a potential move up to Broome with his family? He might also finish up back where it all started...the land of the mighty maroon and gold.

Well BC the mighty maroon and gold never gave the poor bloke a go when he wanted to coach them.. now all of a sudden he is a good coach... no thanks to the maroon and gold that’s for sure..

You might be right Falcon but that was over 10 years ago and if there's questions around security of tenure at WP why wouldn't he throw his hat in the ring to coach Subi if it became available?
