Great to see Loersch signing with EF for two years...draft dependent....rather get in early and have the big fella playing for EF rather than against EF if not drafted....good to see the club being so proactive and positive after a dismal 2017....

Any AFL listed player would be handy after a year of annus horribilus, but do we need him in front of a couple of power forwards? Do we have this need covered by one of our upcoming kids?

what power fwds will he be stopping....if anything they will all train & play harder to get into league
with the lack of talls we have we are not going to knock back this kid as a fwd/ruck

58 not sure which power forwards you are talking about mate?....any player who has been on an AFL list who weighs 100+ kg and stands at 200+ cm is definitely worth a look at atleast.....name or no name...the kid will definitely provide another target up front to work along side the likes of O'Reilly, Howson and Mirco....none of them are what you call power forwards tho....O'Reilly will miss a chunk through u/18 commitments and is still colts eligible don't forget...time will tell if Loersch can deliver, rather have him kicking goals for EF than against EF with those heigjt/weight stats.

Anchor I thought you were a SF supporter?....LOL.....though Loersch is a Peel product originally who SF poached at colts level for only a year, so I guess I can see your lack of knowledge about him....Loersch was delisted by GC mate.....

30+, I guess at 203cm, 100+kg and being on an AFL list, I guess he could be that KP forward struggling clubs like EF & Perth search for to turn around their fortunes....time will tell....considering Gault(similar height/weight) at SD played 1 or 2 games at Collingwood over a 4-5 year period and came back and played some fantastic footy for SD this year.....one can only hope I guess.

At that height and weight he should be too strong for a lot of full backs.

I am jealous as Subi need a ruckman -- he is worth a go for sure.

Mate, there are so many kids playing AFL now, or on AFL lists that I am sure many many football supporters have never heard of,sad as it is.

Not when they are drafted from the local club YOU follow mate.... Anchor surely not possible?......completely understand not having a clue of a kid drafted from another WAFL club....but your own club?.....mmmm that is sad as you say.
