I'm a bit worried about this game Strono, the Sharks will want to win this one big time. Looking forward catching up with Cardy and a few shark blokes in the pit.

If we are dinkum about our 2017 prospects we must win today. I was at the EF v SD game and thought EF were ok and of course they were up and about v SF for 3qtrs. They can play but last qtrs hurt them big time.

Thing is Leedy EF just don't kick enough goals when they are competitive...comes back to bite them as you have mentioned in the SD and SF games...for EF to win today they will need to have a more than handy lead going into the final stanza v WP...just reckon you guys have more goal kicking options than EF

Credible loss if there is such a thing. Good kicking for a change.

East Perth seemed determine to make a game of it and pushed right till the final siren - good to see and I'm sure the coaching staff and players generally would gain much from the 4 4 Qtr effort

Hard to manage the rotation when you lost 2 players from what I saw.

Not sure of his name, but your teenager (from the paper) held Nellie very very well - 9 disposals - I think that's one of his lowest ever - well done!! that's quite a good scalp to have

Some interesting umpiring decisions for both sides haha - I cant say I am a fan of the rushed ball out of play - the determination of what is and what isn't is waaaaaay too broad.

We at WP have some interesting on field work to attend to: :silly:
Several players seem VERY frustrated with their co-players selfishness, or for failure to make effort to get to ball, not spotting a leading or free player to kick too etc etc . This must be a stewing point from the basting some players got. Its one that needs immediate attention as does our back lines failure to cover players when pushing up is required - Blind freddy can see that issue so why cant a player..

And lastly as is with many teams - our Goal Kicking could use a tweak - Once again I have to ask is there any actual work done on this for the players or is it just up to them to kick away at goals at practice with NO direction or coaching?? ;)

The last comment could be said of several teams in the comp at this time

Oh - one very last thing - I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo over our supporter who in the stands smashes our ears drums with his CAAAAAAARRRNN WEST CAAAAAAARN WEST blah blah I know he is likely a lovely gut but REALLY?????

Just seem to roll over in the last.....got close but no cigar.....again....but like v SF,that scoreline really should be more as WP kicked a fair few points in the last.

Did the experiment of Stokes in the ruck work at all?....I assumed this allowed Symonds to play forward....great to see BOB kick 5....and the Watson and Hampson with 3 each....for once EF kicked a decent score....though doesn't help when the opposition kick more....and losing two players when the heat goes on.....more so LA....

LA gone again with a hamstring?....from the looks of things, Henson racked up some stats in the reserves, so I guess he and Macca may come in for the EP game...young Ben Harding picked up 30 plus possessions in the reserves and kicked a couple...is he close to a debut?....with Moreno injured, does that mean Howson comes back?

Pretty sure Schofield will go with his record at the tribunal....

As Custy said good win by the reserves....good spread of goalkickers from the looks of things.....and colts continue to win and win well.....heard some good things about young Collard....he might sneak a state squad selection with their second intake.....

The experiment of Stokes in the ruck whilst big Symonds went forward certainly has merit. It was not a huge success but i do not think it was a complete failure.

Symonds did not do a great deal once forward but at the very least gives us a marking option/contest that can bring the smalls into play.

Stokes tryed hard and should be commended for his effort. The budget lists his height at 197cm though he does not seem overly imposing - probably due to his slight frame. He looked very green in the ruck contests and looked well out of his comfort zone. He did some good work around the ground though and i think would of gained some confidence yesterday.

We trailed all day to West Perth who looked much more composed and systematic. You can question the skills and decision making at times, some may even question the umpiring too but i would not question the players endeavour.

Yep, can't fault the effort. As i've mentioned before, don't underestimate the amount of 1st year players we have in the team. They haven't become League hardened yet. So while i have no doubt fitness is an issue overall, this also ties in with the fade outs.

Winnable game against EP.
